Our Founders
Brice E. Johnson | Principal
My focus is providing excellence, care, and close attention to detail in all phases of design, development, permit and construction. I consider myself a modern gentleman in both persona and business practice. Integrity is central. Residing in Colorado, any free time allows for more camping, hiking, biking, and or snowboarding adventures. All these activities make for a great work-life balance
Cord McLean | Principal, AIA, NCARB
My exposure to great architecture started at an early age, resulted in me having an appreciation for not only aesthetically pleasing design but an understanding of spatial relationships and its importance on the building occupants.
When not working, Cord is actively engaged in his community and neighborhood, whether through Fernandina Beach Main Street’s Design Council or member of the Architectural Review Board. He can often be found wondering the beaches looking for shark’s teeth, taking the family out on the boat or finding ‘historical detours’ on his travels.
Hayden Scott | Architectural Intern
My interest in architecture began with the ruins of Christiansted, V.I. Now that I have graduated with my bachelor’s degree in architecture, I am working with JMD while attending graduate school in pursuit of my master’s degree. I pride myself on my honesty, reliability, and the drive to always give my best to any work, no matter the scope. In my down time I enjoy fishing, playing guitar, and practicing piano.
